Carter's 4 Months!

Carter had a well baby checkup on Valentine's day, the very day he turned 4 months. He weighs 17lbs 5.5oz and is just over 26" long! That puts him right in between the 90th and 95th percentile for height and weight so he has the perfect height/weight ratio. Carter really is the happiest baby on the planet. He is always smiling and has a ready laugh. He loves to be talked to and touched and LOVES when we sing rhymes. His favorite is "cobbler." He laughs through the entire thing. Carter is now going to bed between 7:30 and 8:15 PM and usually sleeps until 6:00 - 7:30 AM and then will go right back to sleep for 2-3 more hours and still has 2 more long naps after that! He goes to sleep best when he is swaddled but he always works his arms out of his blanket in his sleep and then sleeps with his hands over his head. I love that. He still pukes and drools a lot so it is amazing to me that he is able to gain weight at all let alone as much and as rapidly as he does. He rolled over from his tummy to his back on February 2nd and hasn't done it since. It must have really startled him! When we change his diaper he likes to scoot upwards by pushing with his feet. It gets really frustrating as it makes putting on his diaper really challenging! He lights up when he sees Aubrey and Jensen and I love to see that they both adore him too. Carter really is a fantastic baby all around.
