Chris has been trying to get Aubrey to say prayer for a couple of months now. Up to this point she has sat silent during his attempts. Until today. While sitting on Chris' lap earlier this evening, he asked her if she wanted pizza. In response she folded her arms, bowed her head, and said a prayer all on her own, with no coaxing or anything. It went something like this:
Heavenly Father, (inaudible mumblings) bless food. (More inaudible mumblings) grampa Ugana. (More inaudible mumblings) Jesus, Amen.
Just goes to show that it has to be her own idea. Oh, and my dad is in Uganda right now. We've talked about it with her, but have never prayed over him in our prayers with Aubrey so it was her own good thinking.
Quick side note: Aubrey is sleeping in a "big girl bed" for the first time tonight and Jensen is sleeping in a real crib and not a pack and play for the first time. It actually went quite smoothly. Phew...

I love it when they pray, so funny. Kyla will mix bedtime and meal prayers so she prays for food before bed, too funny. Big girl beds are such a big step! yay!
